چکیده
IoT-based wearable devices are significantly contributing to personalized and pervasive modern healthcare. Traditional healthcare systems handicapped by several factors, including shortages of physicians, nurses, devices, hospital beds, cost, etc. Conventional therapy is carried out either at a or home certified therapists which not affordable for many in developing nations. In this research work, we present monitoring an evaluation key parameters indicators device used during the rehabilitation process stroke patients’ hand can be operated users without need therapists. Sensors along with controller board signal acquisition, processing, monitoring. The efficiency increased through real-time follow-up feedback from Three different control methods proposed studied: smartphone-based speech, touch, Internet Things (IoT)-based dashboard. addition, four architectures, including: therapist wearable, dual user multiuser architectures discussed. A therapy-based case study using multiple volunteers was conducted. Therapists remotely operate train users. Users benefit save on costs visit hospitals centers hire Based results experiments volunteers, confidently say that enhance quality life well-being

Hand Data Glove: A Wearable Real-Time Device for Human- Computer Interaction
In this paper, a real-time Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) based on the hand data glove and K-NN classifier for gesture recognition is proposed. HCI is moving more and more natural and intuitive way to be used. One of the important parts of our body is our hand which is most frequently used for the Interaction in Digital Environment and thus complexity and flexibility of motion of hands are th...
متن کاملContinuous passive motion device for hand rehabilitation.
Prototypes have been designed and manufactured for a lightweight portable device which continually moves all the joints of the hand passively through a range of motion. Inflatable bag modules in the palm of the hand are ganged together to create the required range of motion. A battery-operated air pump cycles compressed air to the modules. Initial clinical experience with patients who have flex...
متن کاملReal-time Hand Gesture Recognition on Unmodified Wearable Devices
We present a machine learning technique for recognizing discrete gestures and estimating continuous 3D hand position for mobile interaction. Our multi-stage random forest pipeline jointly classifies hand shapes and regresses metric depth of the hand from a single RGB camera. Our technique runs in real time on unmodified mobile devices, such as smartphones, smartwatches, and smartglasses, comple...
متن کاملHand Gestures Classification with Multi-Core DTW
Classifications of several gesture types are very helpful in several applications. This paper tries to address fast classifications of hand gestures using DTW over multi-core simple processors. We presented a methodology to distribute templates over multi-cores and then allow parallel execution of the classification. The results were presented to voting algorithm in which the majority vote was ...
متن کاملReal - Time Hand
This paper gives architecture and implementation details of a hand tracking and gesture recognition system which has been developed at Olivetti Research Limited as an application for the Medusa distributed multimedia environment. The system uses live 15-bit colour video from a networked camera, runs in real time (25 frames/sec on a DEC Alpha), and copes well with background clutter. Tracking is...
